- Apply liquid organic fertilizer. That will prevent the overdose of fertilizer which causes burns in the roots.
Maintenance of Bonsai in the Summer
- Take out your bonsai.
- Water up to 2 times a day in summer. The watering of bonsai is done regularly by fine rain above the leaves (with a special bonsai watering can) when the surface soil is dry.
- Decrease fertilizer inputs.
Maintenance of Bonsai in the Autumn
- Wait until the soil surface is slightly dry before watering again.
- Water your bonsai as a fine rain over the foliage. Avoid stagnant water that can cause root rot.
- Add a special bonsai liquid fertilizer to the water (observe the dosages).

- Decrease the watering frequency.
